How It Works

A clear process built around
your timeline

The project is structured so the brand, website planning, design, and rollout all progress in a logical sequence, with collaboration and review points built into every stage.

01

Brand identity & discovery

With the new name confirmed, we start with discovery. A short collaborative process helps uncover the organisation's vision, positioning, and how it wants to be perceived across both government and small business audiences. We establish what carries across from the existing brand and what needs to evolve. From there, logo concepts and identity directions are developed based on those findings, refined through feedback, and finalised before rollout.

What you get at this stage

A complete visual identity system - logo variations, colour palette, typography, brand usage rules, and a practical style guide your team and partners can work from confidently.

02

Website strategy & design

Before any development begins, we map the site together - content structure, audience journeys, integrations, and any functionality requirements. This is also where we explore what the website could do better, not just rebuild what exists. All page layouts and UI/UX are then designed in Figma so your team can review and approve the full experience before a single line of code is written.

Design process
  • Discovery process & planning
  • Site architecture & content mapping
  • UI/UX design in Figma
  • Collaborative review & refinement
  • Final approval before development starts
03

Website build

With designs approved, the build begins on a staging environment using WordPress and Elementor Pro. Reusable templates, post types, and global widgets are set up so your team can manage content independently after launch, while the existing content and URL structure is carefully carried across to help protect current traffic and search visibility. Throughout the build, consideration is given not only to usability and flexibility, but also to security and data handling. Any registration or enquiry forms capturing participant or business information are configured to submit securely over HTTPS, with submissions stored within the protected website database and accessible only to authorised administrators with restricted user permissions and two-factor authentication enabled.

Platform specifics
  • WordPress + Elementor Pro
  • Reusable templates & global widgets
  • Post types for programs, events & resources
  • Responsive across all devices
  • SSL, backups, updates & 2FA
  • CMS training at handover
04

SEO migration & launch

A domain change can effect search visibility if not managed properly. Before going live, existing URLs, rankings, and indexed content are reviewed and mapped. Redirects are implemented, Search Console is updated, and the rollout is monitored post-launch to catch and resolve any issues early - ensuring the organisation's established search presence carries across.

What this protects
  • Existing Google rankings
  • Inbound links from councils & partners
  • Search visibility for established programs
  • Traffic continuity during the transition
05

Collateral & templates

Supporting collateral is developed from the finished brand, ensuring everything feels part of the same visual system across print, digital, and event material. This approach keeps ongoing communications professional, consistent, and easy to manage internally without requiring redesign work for every update.

Formats
  • Letterhead & email signature
  • PowerPoint presentation templates
  • Social media templates
  • Flyer & one-page program sheets
  • Pull-up banners & event signage
  • Canva templates where appropriate
